Ricky Gervais is hosting, should be good.
My predictions
Best Motion Picture, Drama
"Black Swan"
"The Fighter"
"Inception"
"The King's Speech"
"The Social Network" I haven't seen it, but for a movie about a social networking site to be talked about so much against movies with all kinds of tricks and effects, it must be good.
Best Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical
"Alice in Wonderland"
"Burlesque"
"The Kids Are All Right" Some of the competition is laughable, and I don't think anyone saw Red so it's this or Alice (which made a lot at the box office so it could give it the edge). Makes me wonder about the level of comedies in Hollywood when this is it.
"Red"
"The Tourist"
Best Director -- Motion Picture
Darren Aronofsky, "Black Swan"
David Fincher, "The Social Network" I am guessing he'll get it because even if the script is good, you have to have a good director to make a movie like this have good word of mouth and be nominated for awards
Tom Hooper, "The King's Speech"
Christopher Nolan, "Inception"
David O. Russell, "The Fighter"
Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Comedy
Johnny Depp, "Alice in Wonderland" The GGs love big movie stars.
Johnny Depp, "The Tourist"
Paul Giamatti, "Barney's Version"

Kevin Spacey, "Casino Jack"
Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Comedy
Anne Hathaway, "Love and Other Drugs"
Julianne Moore, "The Kids Are All Right"
Annette Bening, "The Kids Are All Right" The Golden Globes are about 70 foreign journalists who aren't known for being exactly unbiased in their choices. They could give it to AJ just because their starstruck.
Emma Stone, "Easy A"
Angelina Jolie, "The Tourist"
Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama
Jesse Eisenberg, "The Social Network"
Colin Firth, "The King's Speech" This is the only performance I've seen in this category, but I'd be surprised if any of the others tops him. He was fabulous.
James Franco, "127 Hours"
Ryan Gosling, "Blue Valentine"
Mark Wahlberg, "The Fighter
Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama
Halle Berry, "Frankie and Alice"
Nicole Kidman, "Rabbit Hole"
Jennifer Lawrence, "Winter's Bone"
Natalie Portman, "Black Swan" Wouldn't be my choice, but I know the buzz is with her.
Michelle Williams, "Blue Valentine"
Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture
Christian Bale, "The Fighter" Geoffrey Rush was good, but he's one of those always good Brit actors. CB has been getting good reviews, and he lost weight and did something weird with his hair- always an indication of awards.
Michael Douglas, "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps"
Andrew Garfield, "The Social Network"
Jeremy Renner, "The Town"
Geoffrey Rush, "The King's Speech"
Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture
Amy Adams, "The Fighter"
Helena Bonham Carter, "The King's Speech"
Mila Kunis, "Black Swan"
Melissa Leo, "The Fighter" The Fighter actresses might split the vote, or not.
Jacki Weaver, "Animal Kingdom"
Best Screenplay -- Motion Picture
"127 Hours"
"The Kids Are All Right"
"The King's Speech"
"The Social Network" Look for Aaron Sorkin to try and make his acceptance speech as sharp as his script.
"Inception"
Best Animated Feature Film
"Despicable Me"
"How to Train Your Dragon"
"The Illusionist"
"Toy Story 3"
"Tangled"

"Coming Home," "Country Strong"
"I See the Light," Tangled
"There's a Place for Us," "Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

Best Original Score -- Motion Picture
Alexandre Desplot, "The King's Speech"
Danny Elfman, "Alice in Wonderland"
A.R. Rahmin, "127 Hours"
Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, "The Social Network"
Hans Zimmer, "Inception"
