Im a bit of a nerd regarding this issue, so excuse the rant. A reliable source has confirmed that meat by-product in pet food is/can be diseased farm animals, euthanized shelter animals (dogs and cats...sometimes with the flea collar left on), and road kill. They are rendered and made into pet food.
Feeding dogs and cats dead dogs and cats is not natures way. Didnt we learn anything from mad cow?
Spend a few more dollars for good food (hint: you wont find it at your grocery store).
