No Jail For Scooter

Maybe before the trial we could've saved time and money and asked Bush if he was going to pardon Libby. I know, it's not exactly a pardon but whatever. Still annoying. And Bush is still adamant that he wants whomever is responsible for the leak to be punished. Oy.

"I respect the jury's verdict," Bush said in a statement. "But I have concluded that the prison sentence given to Mr. Libby is excessive. Therefore, I am commuting the portion of Mr. Libby's sentence that required him to spend thirty months in prison."
