Oscars- The Dresses (and Clooney)

Lots of metallic and pale colors on the red carpet.

The Good
Sandra looked great

Cameron Diaz looked good. And I never say that.

Helen

Anna Kendrick from Up in the Air.

Meryl

The Not So Good
Best Director winner Kathryn Bigelow. I do like that she isn't wearing her typical black sheath, yet keeping in the same style as that since that is her comfort and her own personal style. But the heart detailing I'm not so sure about. And this type of fabric puckers at the seams (don't they watch Project Runway?)

Tina Fey in Michael Kors.

Mariah.

J. Low

Rachel McAdams
I'm pretty sure I had a couch pillow like this.

Flakey girlfriend, Clooney with 'tude. What was up with him?

The Bad

Vera Farmiga, Up in the Air. Oy.

Charlize. C'mon!

Not a good look for Miley Cyrus- she looks too old, and has bad posture. If the dress wasn't so low, she wouldn't be hunched over.

Zoe Saldana from Avatar. The connection between the top and bottom is awkward. And the bottom looks like crepe paper.

Can't decide- what do you think?
Maggie G. This looks like my prom dress, as far as pattern. She looks too thin.

SJP
Yes- the fake tan, eye makeup and hair were horrible. But I'm not sure what I think of the Chanel dress.

AH! So tan.
Broderick looks like he's going to his happy place.

Kate Winslet. This dress looks fine here, but when you see it close up, the two pieces don't quite go together and there is some odd pleating in the front. She looks very thin. Divorce announcement soon?

Demi looks good but the color is the shade of her spray tan.

Mo doesnt do the Oscars, but did see part of the speech given by the Sandra Bullock look-alike.

Looks to Mo like someone is stealing the real actresses and replacing them with barely recognizable replacements. Maybe there are pods in their basements.
