Still waiting for Missouri, and one of Nebraska's electoral votes. (Nebraska divides theirs up). Per the AP:
The victory in North Carolina adds yet another solidly red state to Obama's column. His success in the Tar Heel State, as well as his wins in Indiana and Virginia, are a remarkable achievement. No Democratic candidate has won North Carolina since Jimmy Carter in 1976; Indiana and Virginia last voted for a Democrat in 1964.
Obama is winning states that Bill Clinton didn't win. I think Howard Dean gets some credit for this with his 50 state plan. Don't just campaign in dem states. There are liberals in repub states just waiting to come out of the repub closet. And it looks like they did.
President-elect Obama today, talking with world leaders.
