Will Bush Pardon Ted Stevens OR Will Sarah Palin Be the Senator?

I don't want to keep talking about she who makes smart people cringe. But there are a few more things to mention.

Someone mentioned the possibility of Bush pardoning Alaskan Senator Ted Stevens. Let's face it- those Bush pardons are going to be interesting. You know Cheney is looking for a pre-emptive pardon. Or can Bush pre-emptively pardon himself?

Rachel Maddow just made this point- since re-elected (for reals- Alaska re-elected him) Senator Ted Stevens will likely be in jail soon, it is up to the state's governor to replace his senate seat.

So Palin would find Stevens replacement. Palin could step down as governor and the lieutenant governor would become governor and name Palin as Stevens replacement.

Palin would be a Senator and then try and run for President.

It's funny how last night they were talking about Palin in 2012. How is it that someone with a disapproval rating in the 60's be considered for 2012? AND- everyone says she was a drag on the ticket and a big reason McCain lost. Only could a republican with an approval rating in the 30's think of running for president. Something tells me this is more about the press wanting it to happen.

More about the Disasta from Alaska:
-According to Newsweek she spent more than that $150,000 on clothes.
An angry aide characterized the shopping spree as "Wasilla hillbillies looting Neiman Marcus from coast to coast," and said the truth will eventually come out when the Republican Party audits its books.

-Fox News is reporting all sorts of dirt, including that she had to be reminded that Africa was a continent:
