That was my attempt to get Ryan O'Neal's movie reference combined with his recent arrest- possessing narcotics (in this case meth). His son Redmond also allegedly had meth, and was arrested.The AP forgets to mention O'Neal's son Patrick (mother is Leigh Taylor-Young). Somewhere Patrick is sighing relief.
Ryan O'Neal, 67, was nominated for a best actor Oscar for "Love Story." Redmond, 23, is his son from a relationship with actress Farrah Fawcett.
O'Neal had two children with his first wife, Joanna Moore: actor Griffin O'Neal and actress Tatum O'Neal, his co-star in the 1973 movie "Paper Moon," for which she won an Oscar for best supporting actress.
Recently Tatum O'Neal was on Oprah discussing her drug addiction.
