One way is they send (or claim to) you a letter to verify your address. If the letter is returned or not answered, they drop you. A voter can check at canivote.org. Mo says all family members are registered.

Just a note tho, some observers are saying that last nite on tv, McCain was showing symptoms of a possible stroke. Not wishing, just sayin'.
