The number of movie awards is getting pretty ridiculous, but I thought it was impressive Daniel Craig won the best actor award for being James Bond. Yes, its a British award but not the BAFTAs (British Oscar equivalent).Dame Helen lost to Dame Judy.
The Evening Standard awards are sponsored by London's afternoon newspaper and selected by a jury of film critics.
