Marty Wins Directors Guild Award

The Departed is a good movie, but Best Director worthy? I don't think so. There's nothing memorable about the directing. Marty will win the Oscar as a make-up for not getting it for his many great movies (he wasn't even nominated for the beautiful The Age of Innocence). Hey, at least they didnt give it to him for Gangs of NY. Blech on that film.
