I didn't recognize Natalee Holloway's mother on Oprah. In fact, I'm still not sure that's her.

I think the mom has lost weight. Completely understandable in these circumstances. I think I heard she and her second husband (not Natalee's dad) got a divorce, but don't take my word for it. That would be another tremendous amount of stress to be under.
This whole situation is effed. I've heard enough to believe those three boys (Joran and the two brothers) were in on killing her and/or disposing of her body. If I was Natalee's mom, I'd just ride this out. Keep a low profile for 10 years, maybe even a little longer. Let Joran think this has all gone away and everyone has moved on with their lives. Then sometime, somewhere, when that prick least expected it, I'd have him killed. Painfully. And I'd make sure the last thing he saw was my smiling face.
