That cheesy song montage at the beginning of the show.
The producers pick some current song, change the lyrics to incorporate the nominated celebs, and then have the people sing along to the chorus when they show up to the red carpet.
For instance, to "Hey Ya" they must play the song and then shove a camera in Tom Hanks face while he sings along. Some people are good sports, but then there's always a surly person, like Ed Harris that looks like he's going to shove the camera up the camera guy's arse, that makes it even better.
