Critic's Choice Awards Tonight

Perhaps the only awards show that will air this season (oh, and SAG awards probably...they can't picket their own show), the Critics Choice Awards airs tonight on VH-1.

No one is picketing the Critics Choice Awards.

The Writers Guild of America strike, which began Nov. 5, has effectively shut down Hollywood and cast a pall over Tinseltown's awards season. But the Critics' Choice Awards, presented by the Broadcast Film Critics Association at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, isn't covered by guild contracts.

I guess NBC is ticking them off, and that's why they are not going to the Golden Globes. But VH-1 is Viacom, another huge conglomerate. I don't understand.
